
How many sessions of counselling will I need?
Each individual requires a different amount of counselling sessions. There are no constraints regarding the number of sessions that you have, it is entirely up to you. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling.
How long does a counselling session last for?
Individual counselling sessions last for 55 minutes. Couples counselling sessions last for 60 minutes.

Is counselling confidential?
All sessions are confidential. However, the following circumstances may require confidentiality to be breached: Where information is given indicating that children are at risk of abuse or where there is serious perceived risk to the client or others. Confidentiality will be discussed in further detail during your initial session.
How do I know if you are qualified?
i possess a Level 7 qualification in Counselling & Psychotherapy. The minimum requirement for a Counsellor practicing ethically, is a Level 4 qualification. I am also a registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. You can find me on the BACP register using the link displayed below:

What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
If you are unable to attend a session, please contact me via telephone, text or email at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be billed £20 for late cancellation.
